‘Ellerbeckia’ acquired by the Design Museum Ghent

During the exhibition (Tacit Beauty’ (January – February 2020 with work from Helena Schepens and Frans Van Praet) at Valcka Art Gallery, the Design Museum Ghent acquires the silver bowl ‘Ellerbeckia’ for their museum collection. An honourable confirmation on her artistic path!

European Prize for Applied Arts 2018

The jury selected Helena’s silver bowl ‘Dropar’ (made in 2018) to be exhibited in the Anciens Anbbatoirs in Mons. The exhibition runs till 20 January 2019 and is organised by BeCraft and WCC Europe.
In February, the exhibition will travel to the Irish Crafts Council.

Finalist LOEWE Craft Prize 2017

[:nl]26 werken, waaronder Helena’s zilveren object ‘Ellerbeckia’, werden als finalisten geselecteerd uit meer dan 3900 deelnemers.
De werken zullen deel uitmaken van een internationale reizende tentoonstelling.

10 april – 10 mei 2017: prijsuitreiking en tentoonstelling van de finalisten en winnend werk in COAM, Madrid
30 mei – 6 juni 2017: Chamber gallery, New York
September 2017: Paris
November 2017: Tokio
22 – 25 februari 2018: Collect, Saatchi galerie, Londen

 [:en]26 works, among which Helena’s silver object ‘Ellerbeckia’, have been selected as finalists by the Experts Panel out of more than 3,900 participants.
These works will form part of an international touring exhibition.
